The Process
At Otabo, we believe bespoke shoemaking should involve our customers in the process – we are making a pair of shoes, just for you, after all.
We begin by asking a few questions about your tastes, style preferences and particular fit issues you might want addressed. If you need a little extra fashion advice, you’ve come to the right place. We pride ourselves on a broad range of styling and knowing the best shoe materials and constructions.
Once we have designed your shoe, your measurements will be taken from either fiberglass casts or 3D digital scans of your feet. Using these measurements we mill your unique pair of lasts and cut patterns for the shoe style designed. A trial pair of shoes are made in order for you to confirm that the shoes fit comfortably and the pattern aesthetic has been made to your liking. If any adjustments need to be made to your design, we will do an additional fitting before putting your final pair into production.

PRICING
Bespoke shoes generally range from at $2600 – $3800 depending on the design and materials selected.
Trial pairs are generally shipped within 3-6 weeks. Your final pair is shipped within 3 weeks from the time of your confirmed fitting.

Sometimes specialized constructions are needed to address a medical issue. Unlike other corrective footwear, Otabo’s made-to-measure orthopedic solutions are beautiful and functional. If you are in need of medical or corrective footwear due to severe diabetes, traumatic injury, ailment or deformity, we can work with you and your pedorthist or podiatrist to achieve a solution.
